I posted a status on facebook complaining about the swishy noise in my ear. Then I get an off-topic comment from Jim. I graduated from high school with Jim. His best friend (Dan) married my best friend (Lois) around the same time as graduation. Dan & Lois are still happily married.
Jim & I have a lot of friendly, teasing banter that happens on facebook … so I had to ask if he was serious when I saw the off-topic comment:
I told him I didn’t have a guest house or an extra bedroom, but he could sleep on the couch.
So a bunch of messages later & him trying to figure out if he has a 6-1/4″ hole saw, I am going to have a boarder for 3 weeks in January, a little bit of carpenter help, … and dinner every night after work!
He does adore pugs. I am going to have to do a headcount to make sure Annie & Suzzie are still here when he goes home on weekends.

Didn’t you ever watch Seinfeld? Elaine brought home a house guest once and couldn’t get rid of him. Hope your visitor works out well. Just so he doesn’t think you are “cheap”. LOL
