I am messing around with blog themes today … trying to get some of my old ones working in this version of WordPress. Thank you to my sister, Jennie! She loaned me her contraption to make my old hard drive into an external drive & I was able to recover the source files for the themes. I’ll have to download and/or purchase some software to convert some of the image files. The site won’t have a lot of the old bells & whistles as it did in my old blogging days since a lot of people read through feeds more now than back then. (PeeEss: tomorrow marks 9 years since I started blogging at Born In A Zoo.)
The theme I am on currently working on converting is “Camophlowers”:
Created 10/30/05
Camophlowers (former name Hunting Season… new name thanks to my sister Pauline)
It is the holiday they forgot to put on the calendar. In Upper Michigan, the firearm deer season is as celebrated as Christmas or the Fourth of July. And, yes, schools are closed on opening day. This neck of the woods gets all crazy from November 15 through November 30. Do you like my feminine spin on camoflague? The design inspiration actually came from a pair of flowery camo underwear that I own.
